How Scalp Micropigmentation Works

What is Scalp Micropigmentation?

Scalp micropigmentation (also known as SMP) involves delicately adding pigmentation to the outermost layers of your skin. The pigments used are all pure mineral compounds mixed with glycerine. All of the compounds used by Scalp Provoco are safety regulated and hypo-allergenic.

Of course, everyone’s skin is different and we provide a custom-tailored look for each and every client. Whether you need a few subtle touches or the full, glamorous effect, Ravi’s scalp micropigmentation treatments address all of your needs perfectly.

Touch Up

Every client’s journey starts with a full consultation, exploring what the procedure can do for you and making sure your expectations can be achieved before the procedure begins. We make sure that each treatment is tailor made & perfect for you.

Scalp micropigmentation does require periodical maintenance to ensure the freshness of the look, but you can expect the enhancement to last anything up to three years before a touch-up treatment is required to refresh the look.

Scalp Micropigmentation Technique

The techniques used, as well as the pigments themselves, are expertly selected based on your hair type and colour, as well as the skin tone of your scalp. The pigmentation is applied by a fully trained, expert practitioner over the course of many hours, typically across several sessions.

These features not only make the procedure much more comfortable than tattooing, it results in the appearance of a normal hair growth pattern from day one – you can literally walk out of the clinic with your head held high and no visible sign that you’ve had any kind of hair restoration procedure done. The worst that patients typically experience is a slight reddening of the scalp, which fades very quickly.

Does Scalp Pigmentation Work For Women?

Definitely! Many women suffer from thinning hair or from scarring of the scalp. These conditions are extremely easy to treat with hair micropigmentation, and the results are usually everything they could have wished.
